Just Us Girls #132 and Outlaws Paper ala Mode

The Outlawz Paper ala Mode challenge today is flowers.  Nice and easy challenge!  I just got these fun dies from Spellbinders (Flower Pots) and just had to make a flower pot card.  Various punches were used for the flowers and leaves, and my sentiment is from GKD What's the Dirt?  I also uploaded this into Joan's Garden Challenge - flowers.

Just a fun little project.  Want to play? Come on over to the Outlaws PAM challenge (join if you aren't a member - its free) and play!  Tell them Vicki sent you~ :)

Next for today is Just Us Girls challenge - technique of a sponged layer.

I was so impressed with this gorgeous photo from Pinterest the other day, and when I saw today's challenge, well, it was the perfect inspiration for me!

This is probably my most favorite technique! I just love the end result of the sponging with images. I used a combo of stamps for this card; SU Script bg and Wonderful Words, GKD Pressed Flowers, and my butterfly is from Hero Arts (with die).

Like this look?  Want to try it?  Pop on over to Just Us Girls, see the other DT samples, WATCH the video (on how to do this technique)  and play along!  I can't wait to see what you create~

Thanks for stopping by~
