Stamp TV Sketch Challenge
This is for the Stamp TV Sketch. I fell in love with this sketch! It came together so well with my cute little chocolate bunny and some fun copic dots! (GKD - Chocolate Bunnies) Plus, I got to use my Spellbinder's Fancy Tags. I always forget I have them! The Happy Easter is from GKD Basket Blessings. Come on over to STV and play - you might win!!
On a side note, I have been on vacation for the past week - I hope you enjoyed all the scheduled posts! It took me 3 days to get all the last week's cards made, photo'd, and uploaded with descriptions! So glad I don't go on vacation often- it was a killer! Thanks so much for stopping by ~~

Speedy the Cat's Friends Challenge #48
This week over at Speedy the Cat's Blog Challenge, Joanne Grzelak has challenged us to have dry and wet embossing, along with popping up an image on our card. Well, this actually was pretty easy when I used MFP's Fish You Were Here stamp set. I used the sentiment from Grandma's Bourdoir, with a few gems to accent the marvelous~ I embossed resisted my brayered background. Come on over and check out the other DT's cards, see the prize package, and play in the challenge! Thanks for stopping by~

Stamp TV Color Challenge
Today on Stamp TV, Gina's color challenge is Wild Lilac, Sweet Mango and White. Unfortunately, I only have white, so I used the closet I had - I think its pretty close. Anyway, I used the fabulous new GKD Sringtime Silhouettes Stamp TV Kit . This kit has papers, ribbons, embellishments, along with a ton of beautiful stamps images! Such a package!! My bg paper is the Grunge Damask paper created by Emily Giovanni. Some lace (walmart!), gems and ribbon and this card is finished!

Stampin B's 103
{{For the Gina K Designs Blog go down 1 post}}.
On Stampin B's this week, Nancy challenged us to make a masculine birthday card. Apparently, I am into stars (I used one last week on STB too - whoops) - the plaid bg is a download from blogland, I used one of my favorite images - the feather - I just love this feather from Mark's Finest Papers Bold & Free stamp set. The HB is from the newly released MFP set African Veldt. Those jumbo eyelets are also available from Mark's Finest Papers! [Oh I like these - perfect for a masculine card]. Pop on over to Stampin B's, check out the other DT's samples, and then, join in the fun! Thanks for stopping by~~

Gina K Designs March Blog Hop Day 4
This card is made from the Stamp TV Kit, Springtime Silhouettes! Just a small use of it let me tell you! There are so many beautiful images in this set. It also comes with designer papers, and the new color Wild Lilac, embellies and ribbon! How totally awesome is that!
I did an emboss resist technique on this, along with brayering some bright, pretty colors over this gorgeous butterfly image.
Okay, that is it for me. I sure hope you had fun hopping over the last few days. What set did you like the best? -- Hard to choose that's for sure! For your convenience, you can pop over to the GKD store and see all the new releases in one place!

Gina K Designs March Blog Hop Day 3
This is Perfect Pennants, illustrated by Tami Mayberry. I love this set! So much fun. The star fish is from Gifts From the Sea, and of course, the dots are from Vintage Backgrounds. Please note the HAND stitching -- I can do that straight - thanks to my trusty ruler :).
This set,Cute as a Bug, illustrated by Rupa Shevda just screamed little note cards to me, so I made a set along with a box [back left]. Fun isn't it? Another gift set to add to my growing collection.
This last card ismade from Lovely Labels 3, illustrated by Nina Brackett and this set is gorgeous! It also was made to go with Spellbinders Labels #18, #20 and #21. I don't have those nesties yet, but I was able to use the circle nestie also! Have to love that versatility. This card also goes for Gina's Monday Color Challenge; Grass Green, Mango, and Dandelion. Pop on over and play~ who knows you might win!
Tomorrow is the last day for the hop- the Stamp TV Kit! WOW is it impressive~ Thanks for stopping by, hope to see you tomorrow~~

Gina K Designs March Blog Hop Day 2
Hi - Welcome to day 2 of the After Party Release. I hope you had a great weekend. I stamped.... of course.
For my first GKD sample today, Warm with Love, I also used Gina's sketch for today. I might have added a 3rd image but, it's still the sketch. You can click here if you want to check out this challenge. Remember, the random winner wins a stamp set of their choice $24.95 or less. The new sets are also part of this choice!
Now, how fun is a Bring the Bling stamp set, illustrated by Melanie Muenchinger. All kinds of scrolls and swirls of dots. to be decorated with color, embossing (like me), or actual bling placed on top of the dots! This set will be so convenient for everyone. I don't use bling enough, (it's expensive!) with this set I will be able to!
And last, but not least is a fun, fun set Make a Splash, illustrated by Asela Hopkins. A little CAS card just to show off this cute guy! I just used the reverse side of a scallop punch for the waves, colored him with copics, and added some gingham ribbon.
I hope you are having fun on the hop today. Remember, tomorrow and Wednesday there will be more samples to see! Thanks for stopping by ~~

Featured Stamper
Couple of things I have noticed - I have been so drawn to orange and green lately -- doesn't matter what I make - I seem to end up with a ton of green! Of course, that is my favorite color~~ :) and, this pretty apple green paper DOES NOT photograph well at all! It is so vivid in real life -- not so much on camera. Does anyone know what I can do to get ACTUAL color???? It is very frustrating.
I am heading out for vacation. I have spent the last 3 days creating (like crazy) and scheduling my blog for the next week! I might be by to leave comments (I have been so awful about that), but I think I will take a break from stamping. Major overload. Thanks so much for stopping by~~
My Day For Challenges
This is for the Clear Dollar Stamps Sketch Challenge 24. I totally loved the sketch this week and what a great way to actually USE some of my CDS stamps!
This set is called Frisky Kitty, illustrated by Kim Teasdale. Just a fun little card that I had a lot of fun making! Yes, I used copics and can you see the stripes? I DID THOSE with the colorless blender. That is kind of a fun tool the way it takes away the ink~ Aww, the small things. Thanks for stopping in~
Speedy the Cat's Friends Challenge #47
{Looking for GKD blog hop click here.}
This week on Speedy the Cat's Blog Challenge Karen killed me! Have a round card with 3 pastels and 3 bling. I really do not like pastels, They look pretty when other people make them, but mine yuk - phooey - yuk. (lol) I don't do round very often either (though I have done that), I do like the bling though! So 1 out of 3 works, and it isn't called a challenge for nothing! I used the newly released Mark's Finest Papers Just Dandy. Now this set - I LOVE! It is so my style! See how my colors just don't show up -- that is why I don't like pastels - just too light for me!
Pop on over to Speedy's challenge and play. Be sure to check out the awesome prize package! Very exciting stuff!!

Stamp TV Release Party Cards
This is my sample for GKD's Warm with Love, illustrated by my friend Theresa Momber. The release party is going on right now so pop on over. Stamp TV. I sponged this card, and than cut out the circle with my nesties. I also cut another colored circle out and popped them back into place. I love this look, just a different kind of spotlighting.
On this card I used the new GKD Perfect Pennants, illustrated by Tami Mayberry. I just found this type of 3 layered background and I love this! I inked up my acrylic pad, spritz it with water (quite wet) and stamped the paper. With this particular card I did not use water paper (I probably should have - it does give it a more blended effect), and it does work. I than used Vintage Backgrounds for the dots. I used the pennants in a flower way for a different idea on using pennants. This set is so easy to cut with all the nice, straight lines.
And finally, I got a request from Tami to try to use the pennant on a golf course. This is my 4th attempt and I had to go with it. I sent this to my friend Theresa and asked her "how to add depth, she told me, but I am a visual learner and if I can't "see it" I struggle. As you can tell, not much depth going on here! LOL. I told Theresa she can make one and I will follow her awesome tutorial and make it again! LOL. I think she thought I was kidding... not so much. :) I do like the idea of a golf card since seriously? EVERYONE (except me & DH) golf in the state of Arizona! It is the perfect card for most of my Arizona fiends!
That is it for me tonight. Hopefully, you saw this and were able to make the party!
Be sure and stop by tomorrow, the official Gina K Designs DT Blog Hop starts with all the new releases for March! There are some killer stamps~~ Thanks for stopping by~

Sketch Challenge at SCS
I have been so busy creating for the GKD release (Thursday 7pm CST), but I wanted to get something on my blog -- gotta keep you all interested! I adored this layout from the sketch challenge at SCS - I will use this aain and again I am sure! I used Mark's Finest Paper's newly release African Veldt stamp set. So fun to make these silhouettes -- I brayered on shiny cardstock - [that is the trick to smooth, even coverage for me!].
I wanted to share with you all that it is official - I am a Dirty Dozen Girl!! The announcement was made today!! I was so honored to be asked to be in this group over at SCS! It is the ultimate validation of a stamper's work to be asked! So, I will be busy over the next 6 months, and if you are a paying member of Splitcoaststampers.com, pop on over to the Dirty Dozen Gallery, check out the beautiful work of my teammates, and if you are so motivated, join in a challenge or two. The DD girls will be checking out YOUR creations and commenting! It is all fun stuff. The theme this month is Black Tie!! If you aren't a member, think about it -- pretty darn fun to have access to the DD Gallery -- only the paid members get this benefit!

Spellbinder's Thank You Blog Hop
The Gina K Designs team would like to welcome you to this
special Spellbinders Thank You Blog Hop! Recently Spellbinders
generously gifted each member of our Design Team with the amazing new
Grand Calibur! [You should be coming from Valerie Stangle's blog]
What an exciting gift for sure and we are absolutely enjoying this fabulous machine!! We have made some special cards and projects to showcase the new Grand Calibur and why we are loving it so much!! Thank you so very much Spellbinders!
Here is my sample -
It is so fun to make these bigger shaped cards! As you can see, I have 3 layers + a circle. With this bigger machine (holds an 8x11.5 paper) you are able to cut multiple shapes at one time. You all know my best friend was Cuttlebug - but now, move over CB- I got GRAND CALIBUR! I used the GKD set Little Critters, illustrated by Theresa Momber.
As usual, I am the last on this hop [gotta love being named Vicki - I wonder if my mom EVER thought about THAT :).] I hope you enjoyed seeing the cards and projects the Gina K Designs Team has put together. Isn't being inspired fun? I love it~
Thanks for stopping by~ and, THANK YOU SPELLBINDERS!!

Speedy the Cat's Friends Challenge #46
This week Susan challenged us to use lime green and gray with only 1 layer. This is MY type of card and I adore making these! As far as the gray card base....I think not. I should of used white, but it kind of grows on ya... I hope :). I used the newly released MFP stamp set Just Dandy. I love the bfly on this set, actually I really love this entire set - nature! Yep, I am there. Come on over to Speedy's Blog Challenge! I would love to see you play~ Thanks for stopping by~
