I was a little leery of the colors for this challenge - rose red, certain celery & marina mist. I got them to work, but didn't manage to get the dessert of banners. That's okay, I didn't feel like dessert anyway~ :). I used a few stamps for this card - PTI Polka Dot Basics, Hero Arts, and Stampin Up! I guess the stamps came together just like the colors.

Virtual Stamp Night Cards
Okay, I had some spare time on this Sunday, so I joined in a few of the VSN challenges over at SCS. I didn't do all of them, I really do need to get some other stuff done -- You all know, my blog is aptly named! :)
Have a red dress on your card. I haven't used this Clear Dollar Stamp image forever! I love this dress!
Have a bird on your card. I followed Theresa's tutorial for the coloring of this bird. Thanks Theresa, worked out perfectly! This is GKD Winter Wings.
Use vellum with dry or heat embossing on your card. I used a cuttlebug folder. Sentiment is GKD Inside & Out. My doily is a new die cut I found online by Cheery Lynn Designs! Oh I am having a lot of fun with this tool.
Use a music score on your card. What better set than GKD Gleefully Your's! Just a fun one layer card that also fits for OLW42 - musical.
Be inspired by the Wild Thing song. This is my favorite card from this week end.. I totally LOVE this MFP stamp set Big Cats. This tiger is so awesome and gorgeous without even having to color him! I also picked up a "duh" moment through Gina over at Stamp TV -- as long as your dp is the same color scheme, any patterns will match! Well hot damn it worked! I have literally struggled with designer paper forever! Not anymore. I love the "duh" moments in this hobby - gosh it makes creating so much easier! :)
That is my Sunday. I hope your week end went well and everyone stayed warm -- we were cold here in Arizona with 55... and let me tell you - that is cold for us. Thanks for stopping by ~~
Inspiration Challenge & Featured Stamper
This was for the inspiration challenge over at Splitcoaststampers. There was a bench of different pillows, but I couldn't import that photo. This pillow was the main draw for me though. For a little punch, I added the sparkle green frame. The sentiment is from the newly released Framed Greetings from Gina K. Designs. Just a fun little card.
I am going to see what the VSN challenges are at SCS. I am in the mood to stamp and a few challenges seem to be on my list. I might have more postings today -- thanks for stopping in ~

Speedy the Cat's Friends Challenge #44
This week over at Speedy's, Joanne challenged us to use food on our card. I used some glitter pen for the frosting on my cupcake, and paper pieced the cup portion. Come on over to Speedy the Cat's Blog Challenge and join in the fun! See you there! ~~

Stampin B's
This week is my challenge over at the Stampin B's - I have made it really easy- have a flower on your card. For myself, I have been seeing these rolled flowers in blogland. So, off to You Tube I went to see just how these pretties were made. Simple enough, so I did one.
Not to bad for a first attempt. This gorgeous lace is available through Mark's Finest Papers. I have about 2" left {sigh} - I love the pattern on this stuff - just beautiful! Sentiment stamp is from MFP Happy Pansies . Come on over to the Stampin B's and show off your flowers!!

Inspiration and Featured Stamper
Well I have been on a roll the last couple of days. The inspiration challenge at SCS just pushed some button with me and I was off and creating! I have noticed, some people are inspired, while myself, I seem to just recreate what I see. However, that is okay with me, since I am still being inspired, and I am liking the cards I am making. Inspiration takes on all kinds of avenues. For your enjoyment I am showing you the following CAS cards.
GKD - Gleefully Your's
Flourishes Beauty in Nature (retired)
Hero Arts Feather Grass
Inkadinkado - The Garden Variety
My blob flowers - I just adore these fun flowers! How to? Use the FLAT side of your flower stamp to stamp with, reflip and stamp flower image on the blob. :)
I totally LOVE gray and purple!
Hero Arts - Feather Grass
See what I mean? I seem to recreate but I had so much fun making these CAS cards. I did make a purple card holder to put these in and now I have another gift ready to go!
The Featured Stamper this week over at SCS --- A.MAZ.ING.! Oh wow did I fall in love with her fabulous gallery - filled with gorgeous layouts and CAS cards! Here are the two I CASE'd today. I could of gone on and on, but held myself back. :)
Gina K Designs - Lazy Days of Summer
Remember, on FS you need to change at least 3 things - can't just recreate. I needed a retirement card -- I think this is perfect for the guy!
MFP - Greet the Day with Gerber
I love the idea of using designer paper to make a card! I have never done that before and good grief do I HAVE DP! Plenty! Great idea huh?
That's it for me today. A very productive couple of days and the best part? I just had FUN - no stress, no worries~~ THE BEST.

Speedy the Cat's Friends Challenge #43
Last week must of been to hard. We hardly had anyone playing -- this week is easier. Joanne G has challenged us to use black, white + 1 other color, along with having piercing on our card. Here is my sample, made with Mark's Finest Papers new release He is the Lamb.
I found this layout in blogland somewhere - gosh I just loved it! I used a hint of black with this challenge, which works for me! Come on over to Speedy the Cat's Blog Challenge and check out the other DT's, than play along!! Thanks for stopping by~

Verve February Challenge
Week 1 sketch -
I used Verve stamp set Dream Big
Week 2 - I used Verve Celebration of Thanks, along with my favorite, Fluttering By.
Week 3 - Verve set Fancy Florals Remixed. I did some of my totally fun hand stitching (instead of machine) since I so can not sew a straight line..
Week 4 - Verve set One Person.
I really love that background technique! It makes your paper look like designer paper -- but I MADE IT! Love that!
Here is the completed set. These cards are 5.5 x 5.5. They fit, with the envies, into my recycled PTI shipping container that their stamps come in! I covered it in paper to match the cards and WA LA - fabulous gift for someone.... sometime. [I like to be prepared for a last minute gift] I have to thank the Divas, one thing about Verve sketches, they practically make the card! All I needed was to figure color and stamp sets. That's the easy part for me!!
Thanks for stopping by - have a great week end!!
Gina K Designs Party Cards
These are my cards from the GKD Release Party last pm. A fun time was had by all!! Craziness at those parties ~~ the excitement is felt by all!
Chocolate Bunnies - illustrated by Asela Hopkins
Spring Basket, illustrated by Melanie Muenchinger
Live Life Loud, illustrated by Tami Mayberry.
This was also for Suzanne's sketch challenge. What a fabulous sketch!
Little Critters, illustrated by Theresa Momber
This was for Theresa's challenge - use twine or jute no ribbon. I used both! These critters are just so realistic - I love this set!
Spring Basket, illustrated by Melanie Meunchinger
This was for Giovana's color challenge - yellow, green and 1 other color.
You have until Monday at 7pm to complete any or all of the challenges -- remember, the prize is your choice of a 24.95 or less stamp set! Go on over and play! Free is a good thing~
Thanks for stopping in -- Speedy's challenge is tomorrow - See ya~

Gina K. Designs - Preview - Framed Greetings
Last day of Gina K Designs previews! However, the Release Party is TONIGHT! YAY!!! 7-10pm CST over at Stamp TV. Meanwhile, I have one last preview for you - Framed Greetings by Gina K.
This fun frame goes with Nestabilites Labels 16. I do not have those... yet, however, you can see it manually cuts out pretty easy. I did some layering on this card. I wasn't sure I liked it, but the more I look at it, the more I do.
I hope you have enjoyed this hop these last few days and we have inspired you! Once again, if you are following the hop list, I am the last stop. If you are jumping the list here is the team member's links.
Thanks so much for stopping by and if you left comments, ALL of them are appreciated!! Hope to see you at the party tonight~~
