SCS Color Challenge

This week I am Hostessing the SCS Color Challenge.  My colors are White, Gray & Turquoise, with a dessert of using a die cut.  My favorite color is turquoise.  [The advantage of being a hostess, is you get to pick your favorite colors!] My images are a partial sneek peak of Mark's Finest Papers to be released next Tuesday, August 9th.  My dies are from PTI (scallops) and the focal die is one I bought at CHA from MFTstamps.  I love this new die~ it cuts awesome!
My background is a dual resist emboss - 1) stamp image on shiny paper and emboss. 2) Brayer your lightest color all over paper, 3) add punched out circles (3-4) and brayer 2nd color all over paper, 4) add a few more punched circles and brayer 3rd color all over paper.  Remove the punched out circles, and wala - you have self made background paper!  I loved this look.  I hope you pop on over and play in my color challenge~ let me know you saw it on my blog!
Thanks for stopping by~

Vicki,
This is just beautiful I love the colors and the design. Thanks for sharing how you did it. One question about yesterdays card with Dare to get dirty challenge. Is there a way of doing this design? I really think it is beautiful but is there a way of doing it?

Thanks,
Gale

So beautiful! It's kind of vintage, kind of fancy, kind of clean. YOu made a neat hybrid! And congrats on being a color challenge hostess, too. The colors you picked are so sophisticated!
