Stampin B's 108

This week over at the Stampin B's, Joanne challenged us to make a blue monochromatic card with paper piecing.  That challenge just screamed the fun Mark's Finest Papers stamp set Oh Boy, It's a Girl.  MFP also carries that adorable gingham ribbon -- really a lot of it at a great price! I always forget to tell you about ALL the addition items that Mark's Finest Papers carries!  Check it out - it is amazing!
I also wanted to share with you the FIRST card I made, I misread the challenge as piercing rather then piecing.  Funny how one little letter changes the entire concept! lol
(I liked this one better, that's why I am showing you!)

Anyway, do you like blue? Do you like to paper piece? Well, then pop on over to the Stampin B's and play in the challenge!
Thanks for stopping by~

Vicki, I had to laugh at your comment that you made a "paper piercing" card first. I DID THE SAME THING!

Vicki, I kept reading and reading what the challenge was this week as my eyes aren't what they used to be. So, I played it safe and paper pieced and pierced. Now, am I paranoid or what? Your blues look great and that image is priceless. The gorgeous gingham ribbon just tops it off. Great job!

When I saw that Joanne had posted the challenge, I was sure it was to be PIERCING!! I read it over and over to get it right! Small wonder you ended up making 2 cards! They are both so sweet!
