Here is my entry for CTD99 and CWC010 challenges. Anything with turquoise, I am there! Add in chocolate brown - oh yeah~ I used another one of my new stamps from Innovative Stamp Creations (ISC) Serenity. Once again, is this realistic or what! Love it!! The sentiment says "Summer Vacation"- my dream vacation, water and the beach. Off to stamp some more... Thanks for stopping by..

A few STV Challenges
So Ladies this is my newest July/August DT position. I don't know if you have ever seen Innovation Stamp Creations stamps but boy oh boy - do I love them! These images are just so realistic and gorgeous! This is my first attempt - and to be honest, I don't card for this card. I didn't do justice to this beautiful stamp! (The Tropics) However, the color challenge over at STV was blue and green so I went with it. When I get done I am suppose to mail these into Betsy, the owner. Not so much this one - maybe the next one... LOL

This card is for the STV sketch challenge. I fell in love with the sketch! I almost missed it - [to busy doing other projects.] So glad I was able to play with this one. I will use this again!! I used GKD stamp sets Hope Grows, illustrated by Theresa Momber and Take Flight, by Gina K herself. Papers are also from GKD; Cranberry Tart and Aqua Mist with white.

and, my last card (I am getting sleepy) is the Christmas Card Challenge. This week was "your own style" - since I really still have not figured out my "style" I just went with a sketch by CPS and used my fun snowman image by Stampendous. I think this guy is to perfect for the holidays. I also used my new Signature Christmas stamps from Paper Trey Ink. Love this handwriting by Dawn McVey.
Okay, that's it for today. Still getting ready for my vacation in 2 days! Lake Chelan here I come!!I am so excited~~ Thanks for stopping by~ Vicki

Speedy the Cat's Frends Challenge #9
Gosh, I forgot to upload my SCF card last pm. I was to tired to get up and do it. Hopefully, you came back to see what I made! (If you haven't been over to Speedy the Cat's Friends Challenge Blog - head on over and play!!) My challenge this week in 3+ flowers on your card - really easy for sure!! My card is using a sneak peek at the new MFP release Apples & Camellias (This is a fun set, with a variety of items for all different kinds of cards!) and I used the ferns from Tropical Vacation for the leaves. Camellias are colored with copics and I popped one up with dimensionals. Pretty basic card, but I am happy with it. Hope to see you play with Speedy the Cat's Friends!!

Verve New Release Challenge
Julee, over at Verve is running a challenge/contest for the entire June release! I am trying once again - however, I am so happy with the end result of this project that I feel like I already won! LOL. Julee's challenge was to pick sketches from the last 6 months from the weekly challenges that Amber hosts, and make 5 cards. I guess I was drawn to the month of March since 4 out of 5 are from it! I used one of my absolute favorite color combos - black, bermuda bay, white and a touch of red. [Oh this combo just makes me so HAPPY!] I used a couple of sentiments from Gina K Designs (congratulations & happy birthday) from the Inside & Out stamp set. The rest are Verve stamps; Happy Days and Happiness Found. As you can see, I made 4 cards with a card holder. Gina K made this holder about 5 months ago she called it a Memory Keeper, for photos - but it works so great for cards that I adapted it. Is this awesome or what! [I used velcro to keep the lid closed.] Okay, you ready to see the final results???

Here it is all together. The box has the sketch on the flap.

Well, this post took me FOREVAH to load it up~ wow. I hope it looks good when you see it. Thanks so much for stopping by - keep your fingers crossed - I really would like to have a double win~~ Later..
EDITED - OMGosh I am so bummed - I didn't fully read the directions so I am not eligible for the challenge/contest. Dammit~~ Oh well, there is always next month because like I said in the beginning I LOVE the way this turned out and it is going to be a FABULOUS gift for someone, and I am so done with trying to make this many cards at once - it's exhausting...bwahahahah

Curtain Call 35 & CPS Sketch
I love it when I find "forgotten" challenges. Thanks to Marisa she always reminds me about Curtain Call - and this week is a fabulous - and I mean - FABULOUS color challenge. Garden Green, Green Galore, Turquoise and Coral Cameo~~ pretty huh? I thought so! I used the sketch from CPS #172. My cyber friend Karen won a GD position (with CPS) with one of her gorgeous cards - so I am there to support her, and yeah - I struggle without a sketch - LOL. I used my Hero Arts butterflies - love the way these stamp and they are so easy to color with copics!
Thanks for stopping by and thanks for your comments~~ I sincerely appreciate them~

Thank You STV Hostesses for Your Challenges
This is a small hop to thank the STV Hostesses from last quarter. The cards I made are my way of thanking my fellow hostesses for challenging me, and I will be sending these on to them!
Karen Knegten ROCKED out the Anything But A Card Challenge. Every week she came up with awesome projects that just inspired me to make because I would use it! I have to say, if I won't use whatever I am challenged for, I won't make it- be a card, or a project. Karen had some awesome inspiring projects, but my favorite by far was her bookmark! I have made many of these since the original challenge she had. The best part of this bookmark... it is made from packaging I received from some papers I got, so its a recycled project too!
Tina Gilliand every week chose color combinations that I just LOVED! [I strongly believe her and I are on the same page with color!] My favorite by far though was her Kraft, Red and White. These colors are just glorious together (plus, I adore kraft!). Tina thanks so much for challenging me on a weekly basis! This one's for You!
And last but not least is Sharri Seffens. Her challenges Blast from the Past were wonderful! I on the other hand, not so much. I didn't do as many challenges as I should have with Sharri. However, the ones I did partake in were fun to do! My card for Sharri used her Color Your Embossing Folder. [I know, I know you thought this was Vintage Backgrounds - nope!] I got a dot embossing folder (from PTI) and I LOVE it! So, this card is for Sharri with my thanks for challenging me to re-learn some old techniques! (Oh yeah, it's a real early birthday card for hr lol)
This is it for me. I had fun making all these cards to actually be MAILED out. What a concept - lol Thanks for stopping by!!

SCS Featured Stamper - Pam (Iris)
I ended up doing a 2nd CASE off of Pam's gallery. I saw this card
and I used the newly released digital from Clear Dollar Stamps, illustrated by Laurie Wilson. I wanted the focus to be the chair, so I kept this really clean and simple.
I did color this with copics, and than I sponged over the bottom of the chair to add some depth to the chair. Actually, I was very happy with the coloring of this image.
Thanks peeps for stopping by. There is a small hop tonight for thanking of the hostesses from my quarter over at Stamp TV. I hope you stop by later tonight...

JUGS38 - Color Challenge/ Featured Stamper
Took another day to play - this week the JUGS color challenge is brown, vanilla and pink. I really enjoy these colors together~~ I also did this for the SCS Featured Stamper - Iris. I have never seen her work, but it is pretty darn amazing! (She is an alumni Dirty Girl).
I chose this (because of the colors for JUGS - see ladies you took priority - lol) My birthday sentiment is a sneak peek from MFP Flourishes & Frame set. I used my SU paper and ribbon from Wally World - my ms butterfly is dual punched - a nice and basic card, but pretty from the color combo. Thanks for stopping by...

Speedy the Cat's Frends Challenge #8
This week Claudine challenged us to do embossing on our card. To be honest, I do not usually have good luck with embossing - I can never get it "clean" enough. I don't have an embossing buddy, but my girlfriend told me a USED dryer sheet does the same thing~~ go figure. [ It does work!] On my card, I used the MFP's soon to be released stamp set [July] "Southwest Cowboy". I embossed the horses, and than did both sponging and direct to paper technique. [Direct to Paper is when you take your inkpad and rub the corner directly on to your card stock - I love this technique - the results can be just outstanding!] I used a reverse punch for my sun and last step was stamping the Cowboy.
I hope you come over and play in Speedy the Cat's Friends Challenge this week. Remember, for every 40 entries, there is another weekly winner! One Mark's Finest Paper stamp set - FREE! Nothing wrong with free~~
Thanks for stopping by -see you tomorrow..

A Couple of New Challenge Sites
Well, I found a couple of challenge sites, again, clean and simple. Might as well go for it, since I am still on my clean and simple roll. The first one is Just for Fun Friday, a color challenge. This week was blue, green and yellow. As you can see, I like blue and green and I just snuck in a touch of yellow. The sketch is for Clean & Simple FLT95. The adorable digi I used is one of the images I won over at CAS-tastic from Inktegrity - is Wally the Whale too cute! (She does have a freebie on her blog at this point) I just love his sweet smile! The sentiment is also a digi, from Laurie Wilson for ClearlyDelightful. Gosh, it's late I am off to bed. Night all!!

One Layer Wednesday & CAS-tastic Challenge
This card is for OLW9 and CAS-tastic 8. These 2 challenges are just too fun for me! Since I started to play in them, I can't seem to stop! (I even WON last week at CAS-tastic!!) LOL - it's so relaxing to make a CAS card - especially a one layer CAS - stamp, stamp, a little bling - DONE. Oh simply to fun! hee hee. I was at Big Lots yesterday and found packages of peel & stick rhinestones - 300 in each for 50 cents! Sheez - I bought them all!! Let's see me and gems?.....ya think?? LOL. Then, at the $1 store I found little inchie jars (with lids) to hold all these fun little rhinies! Did I have fun or WHAT! Oh yeah. Wanna see em?... They're so little and cute! LOL
Thanks for stopping by - I am going to further re-organize my stamp room. Again, I am out of space! LOL. Bye~~

Stampin B's #63 - Green, Red and Something Round
This week Faith challenged us to use green, red and something round. So, I got out my MFP July set "Apples & Camellia" to give you all a sneak peek. I didn't photograph the inside but it says Get Well Soon (computer generated). Appropriate with this front sentiment. I colored my apple with copics and used my red gems for the red. I hope you come over and play with the Stampin B's~~ Thanks for coming by!

Sketch challenge at SCS
I LOVED LOVED LOVED the sketch today over at SCS. Last pm I had downloaded a sample of Beautiful Blooms dp from Papertrey Ink. I really liked the colors, but I was wondering how I could utilize it. The sheet looks like this:
Just a small square of each paper. Well, when I saw the sketch...
This image is a sneak peek of MFP's July set "Apples & Camellia". A very fun set. Tomorrow I will have another peek at this same set. Hope to see you come back. Thanks for stopping by.

Resting Bird
and here is another colored image - went with a red bird this time!
